NBC TV’s First Coast Living

November 19, 2012

Recording Artist Dalton Cyr with First Coast Living Hosts, Nick Loren & Charlene Shirk, 2012

In case you missed it, on Friday I appeared on First Coast Living TV show with co-hosts Nick Loren and Charlene Shirk. I had a blast on the show and sang part of “You’re Not Alone” (sorry no video of that part) and “Upside Down” during the main segment. Nick and Charlene also interviewed me in the Intro Segment and in the Main Segment. Then I hung out with them at their co-host desk during the closing of the show (sorry no video for the end of the show either). Nick Loren is a Hollywood producer, actor and singer. He is one of the few artists to score a top ten single on the Billboard Charts as an Indie Artist! He’s been John Travolta’s stunt double for 14 years and been in 18 movies. Charlene Shirk owns a production company Shirk Productions and an award winning writer, broadcaster, and media celebrity.

Here are the links to two of the segments I was in:

Dalton Cyr  announced today that he will open for award winning singer/songwriter/recording artist Colt Ford at the Clay County Fair on April 10, 2013.

Coming full circle, Dalton will return to where his music journey started for him when he was just 9 1/2 years old.  It was at the Clay County Fair, three years ago on Easter Sunday that Cyr performed solo for the very first time on one of the community stages.

Now three years later he is opening for a major artist on the main stage. Cyr, who released his debut album in late 2012 and toured as part of the Country Pop Rock Tour, will perform songs from his album, “I’ll Be There.”

Cyr says, “It’s really cool to be back where it all started for me. And I’m really looking forward to seeing Colt Ford perform. It’s been an amazing journey so far and fun to think about how far I’ve come since that first performance.”

Colt Ford whose newest hit album, Declaration of Independence debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and landed on Billboard’s list of 2012 Top Country Albums, was released under Colt’s own Average Joe Entertainment. He has sold nearly a million albums and 3 million downloads. A country music rapper and former professional golfer, Ford has taken the music industry by storm, charting six times on the Hot Country Songs charts. He also co-wrote Jason Aldean’s 2011 single, “Dirt Road Anthem.”

Dalton Cyr will take the main stage at 7:00 PM followed by Colt Ford at 8:00 PM. This concert is free with gate admission to the Clay County Fair. Plan to get there early as Fair officials said the last time Colt played there it was a packed house with standing room only.
